Buenas tardes!
This week was good! We had some awesome lessons
and found some awesome new investigators.
Some investigators that we have had for awhile
are names Byron and Milvia. They are a couple with a baby. They arent married.
The sisters that were in La Gomera before also worked with them. But when they
closed their area, we now teach all of La Gomera and so we took over teaching
them. They are super sweet. They have a really hard time understanding. When we
teach them something like faith and then they finally get it, the next time we
go to visit them they cant remember. They want to get baptized and we told them
that they have to get married to get baptized and then we explained that
commandment. They finally decided that they are going to get married. The other
day we asked them why they think they have to get married to verify if they
knew. They had no idea. But they just believe us. They just believe that it is
right and they dont understand baptism but they just have a desire to do the
right things. They have the desire to follow Christ even though they dont
really understand why or how, they are determined to do it. It is really
humbling. I have learned a lot from teaching them. Patience and love go hand in
hand is one of the things I have learned. We are hoping that they will get
married this week. And possibly baptized.
We have cambios next Wednesday and so we will
see how that goes! I think Hermana Klindt is going to leave La Gomera and I am
going to stay... But we will find out on Monday! I love Hermana Klindt so much
and am so grateful for all that she has taught me! She is an amazing example of
diligence and exact obedience. A saying of our mission is that obedience brings
blessings, but obedience with exactness brings miracle. It is so true! We try
as hard as we can to be obedient with exactness and I have really gained a
testimony of obedience. Think of something that you could change a little bit
to be obedient with exactness and you will see the difference in your life! I
promise!
I love you all! Have a good week!!
Con amor,
Hermana Dibb
I'm searching the internet for a talk I'm giving and came across this blog. What a wonderful example of doing what's right without full knowledge, trusting in God. I always love reading missionary blogs, especially now that I have a missionary son out right now. :) Buena suerte, Hermana!
